The Eugene Dupuch Law School is dedicated to facilitating the development of competent legal practitioners for the Bahamas and Caribbean Region who, appreciate their responsibility as members of an honourable profession and recognizing the needs of their socio-economic environment, are inspired in the pursuit of excellence, the maintenance of high ethical standards, the promotion of social justice and the strengthening of the rule of Law.

  Library

The library is located on Thompson Boulevard. The primary goal of the library is the advancement of the learning teaching and research activities of the staff and students of the Eugene Dupuch Law School. The librarian is Ms. Janice Modeste.

Membership

  1. The Library is opened to all registered students of the Law Schools, members of the academic and administrative staff of the Council of Legal Education and such other persons who may, at the discretion of the Librarian, be granted permission to use it.

  2. Visiting research workers, members of other academic institutions and attorneys at law may be granted library privileges on the recommendation of the Principal, a member of the academic staff or at the discretion of the Librarian.

  3. Other persons may be permitted to use the Library for reference purposes at the discretion of the Librarian.
Opening Hours

The Library is open during the hours stated below:

Terms I, II And III And Easter Vacation
Mondays to Fridays: 8.00 a.m. to 7.30 p.m.
Saturdays : 9.00 a.m. to 3.00 p.m.

Summer And Christmas Vacation
Mondays to Fridays: 8.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m.
Saturdays: CLOSED

The Library is closed on Sundays and Public Holidays throughout the year.
